Thom brings deep knowledge and significant experience to his real estate and finance practice. His focus includes real estate development, urban redevelopment, municipal finance, land use and zoning, tax incremental financing, and general municipal law. Prior to joining Michael Best, Thom represented the City of Milwaukee as an Assistant City Attorney in the Office of the City Attorney.

Dan is an approachable, energetic, and trusted partner with a practice focusing on general business and other corporate matters. Dan counsels corporate clients of all sizes and brings a broad range of experience to his practice in corporate law, including corporate planning and formation, commercial contracting and negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, and venture capital and angel fundraising.

Deborah focuses her practice at the intersection of arts and creativity and is passionate about helping clients optimize their intellectual property rights and create brand value through building a community around core values.

Steve serves as the Managing Partner of the firm’s Milwaukee office. Steve’s practice focuses on all aspects of U.S. and international patent prosecution in various technical fields including the automotive, agricultural, heat transfer, nuclear power generation, nuclear fuels and reactor fueling, security and safety, excavation and construction equipment, power generation and medical imaging industries.
