Katherine is an associate in Michael Best’s Transactional Group, assisting clients with a variety of business and transactional matters, along with a wide range of nonprofit and tax-related matters.
Her practice includes various aspects of corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting, complex corporate restructurings, entity formation, and corporate governance.
Katherine also assists clients with a wide range of tax-related matters, including corporate tax, federal and state income tax, Wisconsin state sales and use tax, and tax controversy matters. With respect to tax exempt organizations, Katherine provides advice concerning formation, governance, and compliance matters.
While pursuing her J.D., Katherine completed a legal internship with the Medical College of Wisconsin’s Office of the General Counsel. She was also a legal intern for the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services and completed an internship with US Bank in the General Counsel’s Office. In addition, Katherine served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Stephanie Rothstein of the Milwaukee County Circuit Court.
