Overview

Daniel assists companies with privacy and cybersecurity matters, from proactive approaches to breach response. He began his career with Michael Best as a law clerk, joining the firm as an associate attorney after obtaining his law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.

While pursuing his J.D., Daniel also gained experience as a law clerk for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, where he reviewed contracts and conducted legal research. Additionally, Daniel worked as a compliance intern for the Central Health Plan of California, where he supported the organization through government contract review and regulatory research and compliance.

While pursuing his J.D., Daniel also gained experience as a law clerk for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, where he reviewed contracts and conducted legal research. Additionally, Daniel worked as a compliance intern for the Central Health Plan of California, where he supported the organization through government contract review and regulatory research and compliance.

Prior to attending law school, Daniel worked as a GIS (geographic information systems) project manager and consultant for seven years, during which time he implemented and developed internal and web applications to automate data collection and analysis for compliance with the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (DOT/PHMSA) and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). Daniel also worked as a geospatial analyst for GeoEye, Inc. (now Maxar Technologies, Inc.) and developed metadata standards and processes for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
