Michael Best is pleased to announce the addition of Bethany Martinez to the firm as the Chief Talent & Administration Officer. Martinez will be based in the firm’s Chicago office.
Bringing more than two decades of experience, Martinez will work alongside the leadership team to oversee and implement core policies and processes related to people, culture and workplace inclusiveness. Specifically, she will be responsible for overseeing the Human Resources, Administration, Professional Development, DEI and Recruiting operations.

Martinez joins the firm’s executive c-suite alongside the chief growth officer, chief financial officer, chief innovation & technology officer and chief business improvement officer. Prior to joining Michael Best, Martinez held several leadership roles at Ernst & Young and the global law firm Baker & McKenzie spanning over the last twenty years.
Martinez received her B.S.B.A. in Human Resource Management from Roosevelt University and her M.S.H.R. from Loyal University of Chicago.
