Michael Best Adds Depth to its North Carolina Presence with New Director of Market Development

Michael Best is pleased to announce the addition of Mallorie Moore as Director of Market Development. Moore will be based in the firm’s Wilmington office with her role supporting the greater North Carolina market and beyond.

As a skilled market connector and trusted advisor within the North Carolina business community, Moore will focus on identifying business opportunities. She will build out and manage relationships to connect and cross-serve clients across Michael Best’s family of companies. Additionally, Moore will build strategic relationships throughout the greater North Carolina community and work alongside firm leadership to build a lead generation pipeline outlining specific target goals.

“Mallorie’s a natural leader who will be influential in helping us continue building our brand throughout the state while helping us continue to showcase Michael Best’s unique capabilities as a one-stop shop for businesses’ legal, government relations and consulting needs,” said Andy Jones, Managing Partner of the North Carolina Offices. “We are very excited to bring Mallorie’s skill set to our talented team!”

In addition to focusing on generating new prospecting efforts, Moore will also continue to assist in Michael Best’s brand awareness initiatives in North Carolina through community involvement, board leadership, and attending and hosting events throughout North Carolina. Prior to joining Michael Best, Moore served as the Director of Client Development at Dualboot Partners, a North-Carolina headquartered software engineering firm, where she led and delivered on growth initiatives. Earlier, she built and scaled an Enterprise Go-To-Market organization at Next Glass, a North Carolina-headquartered SaaS company.

“Michael Best’s continued prioritization of being a leader in innovation and strategic growth in legal and beyond, sets itself apart from other law firms,” said Moore. “I’m looking forward to making a direct impact at the firm by growing its current client base and actively participating in the next phase of Michael Best’s growth plans throughout North Carolina and beyond.”

In addition to her professional career, Moore also volunteers her time to serve on several boards, councils, and community groups including Allergood, Girls Leadership Academy of Wilmington, Honor Flight of the Cape Fear Area, NC IDEA, North Carolina Technology Association, Port City Community Church, UNCW Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship, and the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce.

She received her Master of Global Innovation Management from North Carolina State University, her M.S. in Global Luxury Management from SKEMA Business School, and her B.S. in Fashion and Textile Management from North Carolina State University.
