“Linda has clearly demonstrated her ability to guide clients through the ever-changing rules, regulations and outside threats they face when they maintain confidential financial and personal information of customers, employees, business partners, students, patients and service providers,” said Jason D. Rogers, Chair of Michael Best’s Corporate & Transactional Practice Group. “Our clients will greatly benefit from her vast knowledge in this space, and we’re thrilled to welcome her to the team.”

“We are elated to have Linda join Michael Best,” said Alexander P. Fraser, Office Managing Partner for the firm’s Milwaukee Office. “Her notable credentials are further bolstered by her unique ability to be an influential leader, great mentor to others, and a true business advisor to her clients.”

Similar to the other leaders of Michael Best’s Data Privacy Team, Emery brings practical experience as she previously served as Vice President & Senior Counsel at two Fortune 500 companies, including Charter Communications, a leading broadband and cable operator.

Emery received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Northwestern University.
