Ryan is a paralegal in the firm’s Corporate Practice Group. He assists Michael Best attorneys with a variety real estate, corporate, and data privacy matters. He conducts property and tax assessment research, performs due diligence, ALTA/NSPS land survey analysis, title and policy review, evaluation of agricultural foreclosures, and manages closings for commercial, residential, and agricultural real estate transactions throughout the country.
He has extensive experience in the preparation, final review, and filing of a wide range of transactional and closing documents regarding all aspects in complex real estate acquisitions and sales. He also assists estate and wealth planning clients with real property asset and probate transfers to beneficiaries or other entities.
Ryan guides corporate clients in the application and renewal of Manufacturer, Distributor, and Wholesale facility licenses from State Boards of Pharmacy across the U.S. for commercial-stage nuclear medicine companies that develop, produce, and manufacturer therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals.
As part of the firm’s Privacy & Cybersecurity team, Ryan has significant experience aiding clients in responding to and mitigating data breaches, managing multi-state breach notifications, notifications to regulators, providing credit monitoring services, and monitoring changes in data breach legislation and laws. Additionally, he guides clients through U.S. and E.U. data protection compliance and data mapping assessments for the development of company privacy programs.
