As Director of Information Security & Infrastructure at Michael Best, Demetrius leads the development and implementation of information security and risk management protocols across the firm. He ensures Michael Best is in compliance with applicable regulations surrounding information governance, data security, and privacy.
In coordination with the Chief Innovation and Technology Officer, Demetrius also ensures the firm maintains awareness of the current threat landscape and stays abreast of emerging technologies and approaches to enhance the security posture of the organization.
A member of the International Information System Security Certification Consortium, Demetrius has considerable experience in information security and IT management roles, and he maintains a number of professional certifications. Prior to joining Michael Best, Demetrius worked in IT in the legal, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors.
