As an associate in the firm’s Labor & Employment Relations practice, Joelle offers counsel to public and private businesses on all aspects of employer-employee relationships. Her experience includes assisting organizations with developing and maintaining compliant employment policies, including conducting comprehensive employee handbook reviews. Additionally, she supports the firm’s Employment Litigation subgroup and assists with day-to-day counseling.
Joelle’s experience as a summer associate with Michael Best and her externships with key legal entities, such as the Office of EEOC Chair Charlotte Burrows, the Northern District Court of Illinois (the Honorable Franklin Valderrama), and the Illinois Appellate Court (the Honorable Jesse Reyes), underscore her commitment to and capability in the field.
Joelle has been recognized for her academic excellence, notably receiving a Top Grade for Employment Law during her time at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law.
