Overview

Jason focuses his practice on a diverse range of tax matters. He assists clients with a variety of tax compliance, tax planning, and tax controversy issues. He also counsels businesses on new tax legislation.

Jason was previously a summer associate at Michael Best. Prior to his time as a summer associate, he served as a Judicial Intern to Justice Ann Walsh Bradley of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Jason has also worked as a Legal Intern for The World Bank and as a Law Clerk for a Fortune 500 company where he gained invaluable experience in tax, privacy, transactional, and antitrust matters.  Prior to law school, Jason served as a business development professional at two full-service law firms, gaining experience executing business development initiatives for multiple practice groups.

While pursuing his J.D. at the University of Wisconsin, Jason was a leader on campus. He served as a competitor and coach of several moot court competitions, including the Vis Moot International Commercial Arbitration competition in Hong Kong and Vienna. Jason also held several leadership positions with the Student Bar Association and the Black Law Student Association.
