On June 29, 2023, the United States Supreme Court ruled that the race-conscious admissions practices of the University of North Carolina and Harvard University are unconstitutional. The Court decided that colleges and universities cannot use race as a factor in their admissions decisions. The decision raises many questions for higher education institutions and for employers.
