The White House said that details on a potential price cap on Russian oil could be released tomorrow. However, Russia said it will not supply crude or refined oil products to companies and nations that support a price cap on Russian oil.

The U.S. government obtained a warrant to seize a $45 million Boeing plane owned by Lukoil for violating U.S. export controls.

Consequences

Russia may execute purchases of “friendly” foreign currencies to stem the ruble’s rise.

U.S. federal investigators searched New York residences of sanctioned Russian billionaire Viktor Vekselberg. Italy seized 11 villas in Sardinia belonging to a sanctioned Russian oligarch.

The Chairman of the Board for Lukoil, which was critical of the invasion, died after falling out of a hospital window.

Ukraine Sitrep

UN nuclear experts inspected the situation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.

The UK estimates that Russia has lost 900 elite military personnel in Ukraine.

Finland announced 8.3 million euros in military aid for Ukraine.
