Daniel advises clients on a variety of domestic and international tax matters. He represents public and private companies in many industries including technology, manufacturing, life sciences, energy, insurance, and more.
Daniel has experience counseling clients with regard to mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, joint ventures and leveraged buyouts, investment funds, fund formation, private equity investments, securities offerings, REIT matters, representation and warranty insurance products, and state and local tax matters.
Before joining Michael Best, Daniel spent several years as a tax attorney in the New York office of a major multinational law firm. He previously practiced law with a full-service U.S.-based Am Law 100 firm.
Before embarking on his legal career, Daniel earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting and spent time working as an accountant at a Big 4 accounting firm.
