Sylina manages administrative responsibilities and ensures seamless and efficient office operations across the firm’s North Carolina offices. Before joining Michael Best, Sylina was the Director of Human Resources and Finance for Forrest Firm, a full-service law firm. There, she oversaw accounting, finance, and HR operations.
Sylina also brings valuable experience in the start-up world to her role. She previously worked for a successful clinical research start-up, as its first employee and then as a co-owner. She built a solid foundation of smart business practices and infrastructure, and ultimately led the company to a successful exit. Sylina then served as an advisor to other small businesses, including working as a project manager for a local insurance agency, before settling in the legal industry.
