Michael Best is pleased to announce that Yelena Graves has joined the firm’s New York City office as senior counsel in the Litigation practice group. Graves has represented clients across a broad range of industries in commercial matters.
Graves represents clients in state and federal courts where she counsels clients through all stages of litigation, from early case through appeals. Her practice also includes arbitration, mediation, and negotiation. In addition to resolving disputes, she counsels clients on contractual matters, helping them structure agreements and mitigate risk

Graves takes a practical, business-minded approach to resolving legal challenges, working closely with clients to understand their business objectives and develop tailored strategies for each matter. She evaluates risks and opportunities for resolution with an emphasis on minimizing exposure, controlling costs, and pursuing efficient outcomes that support clients’ broader business goals.

Graves earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Kherson State University.
