Michael Best is pleased to announce that Elizabeth C. Wamboldt has joined the firm’s Milwaukee office as Senior Counsel in the Privacy & Cybersecurity practice, specializing in data privacy and cybersecurity law. Wamboldt brings extensive experience advising companies on complex technology, data privacy, and commercial contracting matters, drawing on a diverse background that includes private practice and in-house roles.

In addition to her experience providing privacy and cybersecurity guidance to clients, Wamboldt possesses a strong background in drafting, negotiating, and counseling clients regarding a broad range of technology-driven commercial agreements, such as software licensing, cloud and SaaS agreements, Internet of Things matters, supply chain contracts, professional services and managed services agreements, and website and mobile application terms.

Before joining Michael Best, Wamboldt practiced at a large national law firm and held in-house contracting roles at both a healthcare technology company and a global healthcare organization. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional – United States (CIPP/US) and an active member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
Wamboldt holds a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School and a B.A. in Legal Studies from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She is admitted to practice law in Wisconsin.
