Michael Best is pleased to announce that Nicole Murphey has been appointed to serve a three-year-term on the North Carolina District Export Council (NCDEC) by its Executive Board.
The NCDEC is one of more than 60 District Export Councils nationwide, and Council members are appointed to provide leadership, strategic guidance, and trade expertise to businesses seeking to expand into global markets. Working closely with the U.S. Commercial Service, the Council supports North Carolina exporters through mentorship, education, and advocacy designed to strengthen international trade and economic growth.
As a member of the NCDEC, Murphey will contribute her experience advising clients on international business and cross-border matters, helping advance the Council’s mission to support small and midsized companies navigating the complexities of global trade.
Murphey’s appointment recognizes her experience working with businesses navigating international growth and reflects her ongoing involvement in organizations that support global commerce across North Carolina.
