Before practicing law, I built a career in sales and product management, gaining firsthand experience with the challenges businesses face. That background drew me to the legal field, where I could combine problem-solving with a client-first mindset. Every day brings a new challenge, and I thrive on the variety. My business background helps me offer practical, strategic advice that resonates with stakeholders. I want clients to know I understand their pressures and risks, and that I’m here to help them navigate those with clarity and confidence.

Overview

Michael Yeh brings a unique blend of in-house business acumen and legal expertise to his practice at Michael Best, advising clients on a wide range of domestic and international corporate matters. With a practical, solutions-oriented approach, Michael helps businesses navigate evolving legal landscapes and resolve complex corporate issues with clarity and confidence.

He counsels clients across a broad spectrum of corporate and technology transactions, including:

  • Commercial contracting and licensing – SaaS and software agreements, master services agreements, manufacturing and supply agreements, confidentiality agreements, terms and conditions, and more.
  • General business law – Business formation, governance, and organizational structuring.
  • Mergers and acquisitions – Strategic guidance through all phases of M&A transactions.

Before joining Michael Best, Michael served as a senior product manager at Zywave, Inc., where he led product strategy for the company’s sales and marketing solutions. In that role, he advised executive leadership on product innovation and roadmap development, supported M&A evaluations, and collaborated with legal counsel on regulatory, intellectual property, and contractual matters.

Michael’s background in both legal and business strategy allows him to deliver actionable, business-minded legal counsel that aligns with his clients’ goals.
