A seasoned corporate attorney with a passion for entrepreneurial ventures and community development, Beth helps mission-driven companies and impact investors successfully reach their business goals through positive social change. She also guides nonprofit organizations of all shapes and sizes in navigating complex tax, governance and structuring matters.
Beth focuses in the areas of social enterprise, public-private partnerships, nonprofit governance and compliance, creative corporate structuring, and business formations (including L3C and benefit corporation formations), as well as helping companies with B Corp certification. Her tax-exempt clients range from grassroots 501(c)(3) organizations to international establishments and include private foundations, public charities, advocacy groups and trade associations, among other designations and structures.
Beth previously founded her own firm, providing corporate legal services to social ventures. She also practiced with a Chicago-based law firm where she helped clients design and implement market-based strategies to maximize both financial and social returns.
