Michael Best Advises Kiwi II Construction in Successful Sale

Michael Best advised Kiwi II Construction, a premier self-storage and pre-engineered buildings provider, in a successful sale to Janus International Group for a purchase price of $97.2 million. Headquartered in Temecula, California, and founded in 1982, Kiwi II designs, engineers, bids, supplies, and installs steel buildings for the self-storage industry, including single-story, multi-story, boat/RV storage, climate-controlled, and custom buildings. Janus is a publicly traded leading provider of building product solutions and access control technologies for the self-storage and other commercial and industrial sectors. This deal will allow Janus to provide clients with an even more comprehensive suite of services.  

The deal was led by Brett Valentyn, along with Adam Goldblatt, Brenna Feldman, Connor Cruz, and Serge Melnik. Other Michael Best team members included Andrew Bae, Lila Brueggeman, Elaine Critides, Taylor Fritsch, Dan Jones, Angela Lam, Brad McDonald, Brain McCully, Emi Passini, Sean Smestad, Kelly Teelin, Martin Tierney, and Leah Ziemba.
