Michael Best Strategies is expanding its Government Relations team in North Carolina in advance of the state legislative session. New hires Kari Barsness and Anna Scott Marsh have joined the team as Principals to provide a broader base of support for government relations clients.

With more than 20 years of experience in public policy and government relations, Kari Barsness will employ her bipartisan relationships to advise Michael Best clients on how best to achieve their objectives in key industry sectors including healthcare, environment and natural resources, and education.
In addition to leveraging her experience in North Carolina politics and fundraising to help clients achieve their objectives, Anna Scott Marsh will bring her expertise across a broad range of sectors including agriculture, food and beverage, environment, healthcare, tax, technology, law enforcement, and local governments.
