Overview

Megan has experience in property law, international insolvency, and legislative affairs. She previously served as a research assistant to the dean of Campbell University School of Law, contributing to a cross-border bankruptcy research program focused on European Union relations and helping develop curriculum for an international course, and as a research assistant to the associate dean, assisting in drafting a North Carolina estate administration manual. She also worked with Investors Title Insurance Company, where she researched property-related cases, drafted the annual case law update, and assisted staff attorneys on complex title issues.  

Earlier in her career, Megan interned in the office of U.S. Congressman Patrick McHenry (NC-10th Congressional District), supporting constituent services, event planning, and communications. She also worked as the operations manager of a high-volume Chick-fil-A franchise, managing multimillion-dollar sales operations, increasing catering revenue, and overseeing staff training and development.  

While in law school, Megan gained experience with personal income tax practice while managing Campbell’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance pro bono project. She also served as the founder and president of Campbell’s Business Law Association.
