With a strong foundation in lab research and real-world industry experience, Jackson brings a thoughtful and collaborative approach to solving complex scientific challenges. His background spans chemistry and the life sciences, with a strong focus on organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry.
Jackson’s experience includes roles in academic labs, biotech companies, and university technology transfer offices. While earning his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill, Jackson also completed a licensing internship at the North Carolina State University Office of Technology Licensing, reflecting his interest in the intersection of science, innovation, and commercialization.
Prior to joining the firm full-time, Jackson was a commercialization fellow at the UNC Chapel Hill Office of Technology Commercialization, where he helped support patent prosecution, licensing, and marketing efforts across a range of technologies. Jackson also completed Michael Best’s EDGE internship program before joining the firm in his present role.
