Rachel J. Cannon

My grandmother inspired me to pursue legal practice. She was one of a handful of women in her Duke law class, and, though she never practiced, is an incredible thinker and speaker. I am so glad I followed her example because I enjoy my work. I especially love seeing an argument come together persuasively after hours of research, drafting, and iteration with my colleagues. Every day, I try to understand clients’ unique needs and advocate for their interests as vigorously as I would my own. I want clients and colleagues to know I am honest, hard-working, and passionate about practicing law.
