Meghan Thies

Meghan brings experience across corporate, commercial, and litigation matters, with a particular focus on supporting businesses through day-to-day legal and operational needs. Her background includes commercial contracting, corporate governance, compliance, and employment-related matters. 

Before joining Michael Best, Meghan worked in-house with a private equity-backed software company, where she supported the legal team across multiple business functions and assisted with preparations for a potential change-of-control transaction. She also gained law firm experience working with both corporate and litigation teams on legal research, internal process development, and client matters. 

Meghan’s earlier experience managing operations for a franchise business also gives her firsthand insight into the practical challenges companies face, from hiring and payroll to customer service and internal processes.
