Jacqueline Dixon

Jacqueline (Jacque) has experience conducting legal research and drafting legal memoranda, motions, and other written advocacy across a range of matters. Her work has included researching federal and state law, analyzing cases, court filings involving expert testimony and related challenges, and reviewing financial and technical materials in support of litigation strategy.

Jacque's connection to Michael Best began before law school when she worked as an intern in the Finance & Accounting Department. After enrolling at the University of Wisconsin Law School, she returned to Michael Best as a summer associate for two consecutive summers, before joining the firm as an associate.

During law school, Jacque served as a judicial internship to Magistrate Judge Joseph of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin. She also worked as a teaching assistant for a University of Wisconsin Law professor, supporting course instruction and grading.

Prior to law school, Jacque worked as a legal analyst for an expert witness consulting company and as a legal assistant for a criminal defense firm in Milwaukee. She additionally served as a research assistant at Marquette University, where she collaborated with faculty on research examining water quality issues, public policy, and environmental concerns influencing constituent attitudes and voting behaviors.

Whether researching novel legal issues, analyzing complex records, or crafting legal arguments, Jacque draws on a broad range of experiences to deliver thoughtful, well-supported work on behalf of clients.
