Jacob supports clients on a variety of labor and employment matters. As a summer associate at Michael Best, Jacob built a strong foundation for his practice through work on employee benefits, wage and hour compliance, wrongful termination, Title VII issues, and contract disputes.

Prior to joining the firm, Jacob served as a judicial extern to Utah Supreme Court Chief Justice Matthew B. Durrant, drafting recommendations and analysis for the court’s consideration on pending cases, and as a law clerk with the Brigham Young University (BYU) Office of General Counsel, researching issues related to civil procedure, evidence, and employment law. He also assisted faculty at BYU Law School, mentoring students in legal writing and supporting instruction in evidence and constitutional law.
