My Why

What powers my practice

I was first inspired to pursue law by the lawyers I saw in movies and on television, where standing up in court and cross-examining witnesses looked like the coolest job in the world. While real life turned out to be different, to this day my favorite part of practice is cross-examining witnesses. The most meaningful moments come when a client feels that I have told their story—like after a jury trial when a client thanked me through tears before we went on to celebrate a huge verdict in our favor. I take pride in being a tireless advocate for my clients, while also staying committed to giving back and staying connected in my community.
