Michael Best represented The Horton Group, Inc., one of the largest insurance brokers in the US, in its sale to Marsh McLennan Agency, an insurance and benefits solutions provider and business of Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC), one of the world’s largest professional services firms. The Horton Group was founded in 1971 and specializes in property and casualty insurance, employee benefits consultation, and personal lines coverage for businesses and individuals. Employees from The Horton Group will join Marsh McLennan Agency and continue working from their existing nine locations.
