My Why

What powers my practice

I wanted to try something different after engineering school and stumbled into becoming a patent engineer. Watching attorneys provide the kind of legal advice I wasn’t qualified to give inspired me to take the next step and become a lawyer myself. It’s fulfilling to meet inventors in person to experience their creations firsthand—especially when a quiet idea turns into an enthusiastic explanation—and it’s always fun to explore new gadgets along the way. I prioritize active listening, ensuring I fully understand my clients’ needs before offering guidance, so that every recommendation is aligned with their goals.
