My Why
What powers my practice
As a kid, I noticed that the stories I loved didn’t end with the show, the movie, or the comic book. They continued on toys, T-shirts, and lunch boxes. Connecting those dots was my first introduction to intellectual property, and to the idea that a creative work can also be a business. That curiosity drew me to the creative side of media and then to the law, where I now serve as counsel to creators, founders, and innovators. What I value most is helping clients turn their ideas into assets they can protect, license, and build on. I share that perspective each time I join my Comic-Con panel, where I help aspiring creators understand the legal side of the work they love.
