Overview

Amanda advises clients on a range of commercial real estate and business transactions, working with clients from entrepreneurs and small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. She works closely with clients to understand their goals and provide practical guidance through complex real estate matters. 

Her practice focuses on commercial real estate and corporate transactions, including commercial leases, acquisitions and dispositions, ground leases, purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, management agreements, operating agreements, letters of intent, amendments, subleases, title examination and conveyance matters, review of title insurance and surveys, contract negotiation, and related transactional matters. 

Amanda also brings prior in-house experience in the financial services industry to her practice. Before joining Michael Best, she practiced at a national law firm and previously served as Corporate Counsel for a national broker-dealer and registered investment advisor. In that role, she advised on matters involving the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the USA PATRIOT Act, the Bank Secrecy Act, and related regulations. She also assisted with FINRA arbitrations, worked alongside litigation counsel, and supported compliance efforts related to court orders and garnishments.
