At Ballotpedia, she was Vice President of External Relations, overseeing national partnerships, revenue growth, and media strategy. At the Henry Vilas Zoological Society, she led successful capital campaigns, stakeholder engagements, and implemented public affairs initiatives that elevated the organization’s visibility and impact.

Earlier, Alison held a variety of events management and communications roles at the White House, presidential campaigns, and on several state-level campaigns, serving as her foundational, firsthand experience in large-scale event execution, grassroots advocacy, and winning political operations and strategy.

Alison has served as a trusted corporate advisor to leaders of Fortune 500 companies and nonprofit organizations, helping them navigate regulatory landscapes, build strategic partnerships, and align their public affairs strategies with business objectives. Her work includes advising boards of directors and senior leaders, developing integrated communications and business strategies, and driving organizational transformation.
