Mike Barnhill is an experienced civil litigator and trial attorney who has represented clients in a wide variety of matters, including cases involving contractual breaches, torts (including fraud and negligence), misappropriation of trade secrets, securities violations, and employment issues (wage and hour, discrimination).  Mike also defends class action suits and financial services companies in consumer litigation.  Mike is licensed in both California and Utah and has represented extensively litigated cases in both states as well as many other states.

Ethan is an Associate who focuses on commercial litigation. He has experience in both trial and appellate courts. Ethan has assisted with numerous large-scale litigations, including antitrust, class action, and multi-district litigation.

Mike serves as a strategic counselor, appellate advocate, and motion and brief writer in complex commercial and criminal cases. Sophisticated business clients turn to Mike for strategic advice and drafting expertise, and he has proved instrumental in securing case dismissals, in defeating class certifications, and in preserving or reversing judgments on appeal. His efforts have consistently eliminated or substantially reduced clients’ financial exposure.

Clients rely on Rick’s deep understanding of the mediation, arbitration, litigation, and appellate processes. Rick has been the lead trial attorney on a variety of complex cases presented to juries, judges, and arbitrators. His practice predominately focuses on business disputes, lease/contract disputes, construction disputes, securities cases, and trade secret issues.
