Daniel assists companies with privacy and cybersecurity matters, from proactive approaches to breach response. He began his career with Michael Best as a law clerk, joining the firm as an associate attorney after obtaining his law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.

Matthew assists early-stage and emerging companies and investors with navigating the unique legal and regulatory challenges within the fast-growing cannabis industry.

Daniel advises clients on a variety of domestic and international tax matters. He represents public and private companies in many industries including technology, manufacturing, life sciences, energy, insurance, and more.

Iqan advises clients on securities and financial services regulation. Clients appreciate Iqan’s commitment to keeping them compliant with the laws governing capital raising, brokerage and investment services, blockchain technology, crowdfunding, and anti-money laundering.

Kieran advises entrepreneurs on a range of business matters including formation and governance and helps them navigate the regulatory environment. He also prepares and negotiates contracts including employment, noncompete, confidentiality, vendor/supplier, and other agreements. He counsels businesses from a wide range of industries, with a particular focus in the areas of technology, finance, and cannabis.

Alec serves as primary outside counsel to national, regional, and community banks on interest rate swaps, foreign exchange, commodities, and other derivatives product lines, including documentation for customer transactions and Dodd-Frank Act compliance. In addition, he represents end-users on interest rate swaps, foreign exchange, commodities, and other derivatives transactions and compliance. Alec also practices in the areas of commercial lending, corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions.
