Eliana prepares patent documents for submission to the United States Patent and Trademark Office on behalf of a diverse group of clients.

As a member of the firm’s Marketing and Business Development team, Lauren works closely with attorneys on client development efforts, service delivery, growth strategy, and operational excellence. She leverages a background in the start-up space and considerable experience working in business operations, including the areas of business planning, management, marketing strategy, financial analytics, recruiting, contract negotiations, and process automation.

Katie counsels and advocates for clients seeking to manage or prevent workplace disputes. She advises employers on a broad range of employment law concerns, including discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, disability accommodations, family and medical leave, wage and hour law, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, and employee terminations and reductions in force.

Mark’s practice is focused on representing individuals in wealth planning and administration, including the preparation of trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and charitable planning. Mark also collaborates with the firm’s corporate attorneys to advise business owners and executives on business succession planning, and other matters related to the protection of their assets. He works closely with each client to understand their goals and needs on an individual level and develops tailored solutions that achieve those objectives. Mark’s clients rely on his ability to successfully navigate complex family and financial situations and reach practical and effective solutions.

Allyson manages all stages of major project life cycles, from initial vision to successful execution. She leverages strong business acumen, process improvement, communication, and leadership skills to keep projects on time and on budget and achieve optimal outcomes. Before joining Michael Best, Allyson was a Project Manager at Forrest Firm, a full-service law firm I North Carolina
