Whether patents, trademarks, trade dress, trade secrets, or unfair competition, Melanie helps clients enforce their intellectual property assets and defend against infringement allegations. Drawing on her engineering background, she also counsels clients on pre-litigation patent infringement and validity opinion matters.

Richard Ressler has dedicated his 30+ year legal career to developing his general counsel corporate and securities legal practice and providing excellent service to his clients and community. Richard offers clients a deeply educated, reasoned perspective and wide-ranging experience, having represented companies large and small, publicly traded and privately held. He has experience across industry sectors including consumer products, technology, transportation, and business accelerators.

Keith represents business and corporate clients in conflicts and litigation encompassing complex contract and commercial disputes, intra-company disputes between shareholders and members, employment matters including workers’ compensation, and other areas of risk management. He also represents churches and other religious organizations in matters of governance, internal affairs, risk management, and litigation.

Lyndon advises businesses and government entities on a broad spectrum of corporate and transactional issues. Known to his clients as an informed and experienced businessman who is also a lawyer, he helps them with corporate and commercial matters including compliance with securities laws, buying and selling businesses, and creating and organizing new lines of business.

Jared brings both technical training as an electrical engineer and a broad range of experience in prosecuting patents related to the electrical and computer sciences to his practice. Clients benefit from his unique perspective and informed guidance on matters relating to the successful prosecution and defense of their patents.

Farrah serves Michael Best in two capacities: as partner in the Labor and Employment Relations Practice Group. Her practice focuses on employment counseling and employment litigation, with a particular emphasis on discrimination, noncompetition, and Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP).
