Overview

Scott advises clients on U.S. and international patent prosecution and IP portfolio management, drawing on 15 years of experience in engineering and expert witness services, IP consulting, and business management for electromechanical product development, manufacturing, sales, and litigation. He conducts invention disclosure interviews, counsels on intellectual property strategy and freedom to operate, assists in securing patent rights, and supports negotiation, contract review, and execution across technologydriven matters.  

Scott brings a practical industry perspective shaped by prior roles as an inventor on multiple patents, a supply chain engineer on rocket systems and test equipment with the U.S. Air Force, a project manager overseeing multimillion-dollar water treatment system design and fabrication projects, an engineering product manager leading the commercialization of hardware and wireless solutions, and a consultant on compliant mechanisms, hydraulic systems, mining equipment simulators, motor-driven modular buildings, and medical sensing technologies.
