Overview

Sansun brings extensive experience in the life sciences to her work representing clients in regard to the full spectrum of foreign and U.S. patent prosecution. Her track record in freedom to operate and patentability matters is informed by her technical background in biochemistry and molecular biology, encompassing:

    • genome editing tools, such as CRISPRs, TALENs, and ZNF-nucleases
    • reporter genes, biosensors, and assays, such as luciferase-based systems

Sansun earned a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin in 2003. Prior to practicing law, she worked in patent research for a leading biotechnology company.
