Samantha focuses her practice in corporate, transactional, wealth management, and tax-related issues. She started at Michael Best as a summer associate and joined the firm as an associate after earning her law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School.
While pursuing her J.D., Samantha served as a research assistant for Professor Julian Velasco, and she clerked with Catholic Charities Legal Assistance. As a law clerk, she drafted motions and petitions, researched and drafted memoranda, and participated in client consultations. Additionally, she served as a legal extern for Notre Dame’s Office of Gift Planning where she performed research on various tax matters and extensively researched Donor Advised Funds while creating a comprehensive guide for new donors. Samantha also worked as a legal extern for the National Immigrant Justice Center where she aided families through the early stages of the asylum process.
During her years at the University of Notre Dame Law School, Samantha was active in several student organizations and, during her third year, was chosen by law school faculty to receive the H. King Williams Memorial Award, awarded to a graduating student who has made a significant contribution to building community at the Law School.
