Rachel assists employers and business owners with corporate and employment issues and disputes. In her litigation practice, she works hard to help her clients resolve conflicts outside of the courtroom. When litigation is necessary, Rachel helps her clients obtain successful outcomes.

She represents employers in disputes related to unfair competition, non-compete covenants, and other employee-employer contracts. Rachel also represents companies in litigation involving breach of contract, partnership disputes, deceptive trade practices, creditors’ rights, and infringement of IP rights.  

Additionally, Rachel has a specialty practice advising closely held businesses at all stages of their lifecycles on a range of corporate matters, from formation through succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, and dissolutions.

Before joining Michael Best, Rachel was a member of full-service firm Forrest Firm, where she also served as Managing Attorney of the Forrest Firm’s Greensboro and Winston-Salem offices. Previously, Rachel was an attorney with Sharpless and Stavola, PA., where she focused on litigation and transactional law.
