Patrick has 50 years of experience as a transactional and business attorney. His practice emphasizes federal and state securities law, corporate and partnership law, limited liability companies, taxation, and general business and commercial litigation.
He advises clients on public and private offerings, acquisitions, mergers, venture capital financing, stock transfer matters, and SEC reporting and enforcement matters. Patrick also counsels on corporate governance, entity structuring, tax planning, real estate transactions, contract negotiation, financing, employment and incentive plans, oil and gas matters, and the purchase and sale of businesses. In addition, he represents clients in commercial litigation, arbitration, mediation, and regulatory proceedings in both federal and state courts.
Earlier in his career, Patrick served as a part-time instructor of law at the University of Denver College of Law and as a part-time instructor of accounting at Metropolitan State College in Denver.
