Patrick tracks, researches, and reports on key policy issues that are relevant to Michael Best Strategies clients.
He is dedicated to providing excellent service to clients by monitoring congressional hearings, researching applicable data bases, and monitoring national and international media sources, in order to provide highly consequential and timely legislative and regulatory updates.
Working with Strategies on a wide-ranging portfolio of projects and issues, Patrick has the experience, knowledge, and desire to help address clients’ concerns and inquiries. He is driven to exceed clientele expectations, and brings a diverse set of skills and perspectives to assist his team’s work dealing with a broad set of issues, including energy, agriculture, tax, trade, and financial technology.
Patrick has been very active in politics since with his time with the Talbot County Democratic Forum, where he volunteered for President Obama’s reelection as a high school student. While in college, he volunteered for Monty Mason for Delegate of District 93, Williamsburg, VA; served as a campaign strategist for Virginia’s 1st District congressional candidate, Norm Mosher; and interned on the Hill for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in 2014. He also worked extensively with the Senate Democratic Steering & Outreach Committee while on Capitol Hill.
Patrick joined Michael Best Strategies as an intern during the summer of 2017.
