Overview

Natalie has experience in appellate litigation, federal civil procedure, and client support. She most recently served as a judicial extern to Judge Michael Y. Scudder of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, where she researched federal and state statutes, analyzed jurisdictional issues, prepared bench memoranda, and attended court sessions. She also worked as a research assistant to a Northwestern law professor, focusing on developments in federal civil procedure and updating a leading casebook. 

Previously, Natalie was a legal support specialist at a business law firm in Chicago, where she created office procedures, managed records for more than 700 inactive clients, and drafted client correspondence. Earlier in her career, she held internships with a tax and estate planning practice and a full-service law firm in Chicago, where she supported matters involving estate planning, tax preparation, and client communications.
