Nancy advises businesses on regulatory compliance matters. She also assists clients with dispute resolution and litigation, and counsels on litigation avoidance strategies.
Nancy’s focus is on energy and environmental regulation and renewable energy project transactions. Her experience in these industries includes preparing project-related agreements between private and public entities, determining regulatory requirements for various projects, and preparing plans in consultation with the firm’s clients for compliance with those requirements.
Nancy has developed in-depth knowledge of the regulation of PFAS and related legal and regulatory issues. She has also worked on numerous environmental matters for EPA reporting requirements under the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act, environmental compliance and record keeping requirements as well as state natural resources department reporting requirements.
While earning her law degree, Nancy was a summer associate at Michael Best, and served as a law clerk at the nonprofit firm Community Justice, Inc. in Madison. She also completed a research assistantship at the University of Wisconsin Law School. Earlier, Nancy spent five years building her legal experience while working as a legal assistant and a paralegal before pursuing her J.D.
