Overview

Megan focuses her practice in the area of intellectual property. She prepares and prosecutes patent applications, drawing on her technical background in mechanical engineering.

Megan earned her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where she also worked as an engineering research assistant and a machining studio assistant. She joined Michael Best in 2017 as a member of the EDGE patent internship program, and then as a patent engineer. Prior to joining the firm, Megan interned for Baketech/AMF Bakery, where she helped design and model conveyor switches.
