Megan advises public and private companies on employee benefits and executive compensation issues. She counsels both employers and executives on the negotiation, design, and implementation of employment, severance and change-in-control arrangements, deferred compensation plans, and equity and other incentive compensation plans and arrangements. Megan also advises her clients on a variety of federal and state labor and employment matters.
Earlier in her career, Megan was an associate with two AmLaw 100 firms, where she focused on employee benefits, ERISA, and executive compensation matters. She also gained experience in tax and securities law matters, in connection with mergers and acquisitions, financings, initial public offerings, and other corporate transactions.
Megan graduated cum laude from Yale University, earning her bachelor's degree with academic distinction in her major, and holds a J.D. from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, from which she also graduated cum laude. During law school, Megan participated in an international exchange program at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, Germany, focusing on International and Comparative Business Law.
