Kayla focuses her practice on commercial real estate matters. She has represented institutional lenders as lender’s counsel in a myriad of loan closings, including multi-family and affordable housing projects. She has also represented many commercial landlords and tenants in complex lease negotiations, and business owners in the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate assets.
Prior to joining Michael Best, Kayla was an attorney with full-service firm Forrest Firm. She previously spent three years practicing with a boutique commercial real estate firm where she gained deep experience within the industry.
