Justin leverages his broad litigation experience to counsel and advocate for companies and individuals in business disputes, licensure matters, and other issues. He is experienced in managing complex litigation in both bench and jury trials.

Justin focuses his practice in several areas, as detailed below.

Licensed Professionals

Justin has substantial experience working as a trusted advisor of licensed professionals. From federal lawsuits involving catastrophic loss and alleged civil rights violations to licensing board investigations and disciplinary proceedings, Justin helps professional clients resolve disputes and defends them in litigation that affects their reputations and livelihoods. He also represents licensed professionals in matters involving the False Claims Act, civil investigative demands, and qui tam actions; Medicaid audit and recoupment actions; and other related matters. Finally, Justin also advises professional clients on practice management, including statutory, regulatory, administrative, and professional-ethics compliance matters.

Business Litigation

Justin has years of experience navigating litigation arising from his clients' business operations, including contract disputes, product liability, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, tortious interference, unfair and deceptive trade practices, and defamation. Justin also advocates for clients in insurance coverage disputes and employee fraud and embezzlement cases.

Inappropriate Conduct

Justin has represented educational and religious institutions in matters arising from alleged sexual misconduct of members, staff, and volunteers. He also represents and advises his clients in matters arising from mandatory reporting duties. 

Additionally, Justin has significant experience representing state and municipal agencies and officers, including law enforcement officers, social workers, and healthcare providers, in civil rights litigation. He also represents state agencies in inverse condemnation matters. Substantively, Justin has represented clients in matters encompassing alleged police misconduct, deprivation of parental rights by DSS agents, and governmental, public officer, and qualified immunity matters.
