Joshua brings an extensive background in electrical engineering to assist in the prosecution of U.S. and international patent applications and litigation matters.
His unique combination of formal education and practical working experience enables him to assist clients with the preparation of patents and to effectively prosecute them before the United States Patent and Trademark Office to obtain U.S. and international patent protection. He also brings solid advice to the firm’s litigation team with his wide array of electrical engineering knowledge on matters relating to infringement and to those before the Patent Trial and Appeals Board.
Prior to joining Michael Best, Joshua worked as an electrical apprentice for Titus Electrical Contracting, where his experience included:
- Installing, testing, and repairing commercial wiring systems
- Working with a variety of electrical devices
- Data center design and installation
- Life safety and emergency power systems
